SEMH Outreach Education Outreach Service for BCP Schools

Across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Specialist Outreach providers work cohesively together to support the Graduated Response: Ambitions Academies Trust (with the Specialist Provisions of Tregonwell Academy and Longspee Academy) provide Outreach and Graduated Response support for children whose needs are related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, whilst other Specialist Provisions (Montacute School, Winchelsea School, Linwood School) support the Graduated Response in other areas of the Code of Practice.

The BCP Outreach Service is accessed through the completion of an Outreach Referral Form (please see link below), which then needs to be sent to [email protected] . An Outreach referral can be a request for individual pupil/student support, or a request for Training (whole-school or smaller cohort). Once the referral form has been received, an Outreach Triage Group will then meet to discuss and allocate specialist support, with reference to the Graduated Response, Code of Practice, Capacity and the Locally Commissioned Specialisms.
